Environmental respect and sensitivity starts at the exploration phase. We clean up behind ourselves and as we move forward to develop our properties, we strive to minimize our environmental footprint.

Red Wine Complex

The Red Wine peralkaline complex consists of two identical plutons located 110 km NE of the Community of Churchill Falls in Central Labrador. In 2010 and 2011, Search completed an extensive exploration program in the area consisting of prospecting, the mapping and channel sampling of nine critical rare earth element prospects and some drilling.

The most notable result consisted of 13.07metres of channel sampling from the Merlot Prospect which averaged 504 ppm Dysprosium, 71.5 ppm Terbium, 3,116 ppm Yttrium and 2,047 ppm Neodymium.

While further exploration in the area has been curtailed in favour of focusing on prospects in more accessible regions, consolidation of our licenses in 2014 will enabled Search to maintain 75 claims in key areas until 2022.
